Unity’s Indirect Lending Department Revs Up

PIQUA, Ohio – Unity National Bank has announced the expansion of its Indirect Lending Department with the promotion of Karen Petty to Loan Support Supervisor along with the addition of 2 new associates, Chrissy Potts and Brittnie Yingst.

Karen Petty started with Unity National Bank in the Consumer Loan Department in 1997. During the time she has been in loan support she also has served as a commercial loan support backup and switchboard operator.  Karen will now be in charge of all aspects of loan support, mortgage, direct and indirect loan processing.  While her work at Unity is impressive, her most impressive accomplishment is the fact that Karen and her husband Jason are foster parents, for children ranging from infants up to 18 years of age, which is how they were blessed to receive their daughter Halley.

Chrissy Potts joined Unity National Bank in February of this year as an Indirect and Direct Credit Analyst. Chrissy and her husband, Mark, reside in Piqua and have one daughter, Tasha who will be a Senior at Piqua High School and is a Varsity volleyball and basketball player for the Indians.  Chrissy graduated from Covington High School and the Upper Valley JVS and was previously employed at Francis Office Supply as a sales and customer service representative.  She is involved with the Piqua Indian Athletic Boosters and is the Governor of Piqua Volleyball. She also volunteers her time with the Salvation Army and the Piqua R.I.P. Run.

Brittnie Yingst joins Unity National Bank as a Retail Specialist having previously worked at Fifth Third Bank as a customer service representative.  As a member of the loan support team, she will be involved in mortgage, direct, and indirect loan processing, primarily focusing on indirect. Brittnie and her husband, Deron, reside in Piqua and have two sons, Austin and Kelton. She graduated from Piqua High School and her hobbies include swimming and thrift store shopping.
